Enliven your mantle and fire up the fireplace: The fireplace is often the most important architectural element of a room and, therefore, the default focal point. When using a fireplace with burning wood or coal a good set of fire tools is essential for your safety. Not all sets are created equal so choose wisely. We recommend those sold at www.brasshomedecor.com which we have found to be extremely sturdy and hard wearing as they are made from solid brass. Added to this they also come with a variety of Finials as shown in the pictures below. Beware of the cheap imitations which can be dangerous and rarely last more than one winter.
